Renowned for their creative synergy, Crayle and Kelly will bring their expertise and passion for cosplay to the pages of the magazine with their new column, “Forged by Fire.”

With years of combined experience in crafting, performing, and engaging in the cosplay community, the Phoenix Sisters are a perfect match for Otaku Asylum’s mission to celebrate fandoms and the artistry that fuels them. Crayle McDonald, a crafting virtuoso based in Indiana, is known for her stunning Pokéball dioramas and meticulous cosplay designs. Her talents blend seamlessly with those of Kelly Guentner-Edwards, a Wisconsin-based author, cosplayer, and passionate advocate for the role of comics and cosplay in fandom culture.
