Welcome to Otaku Asylum Magazine!
Otaku Asylum Magazine started as a simple idea — what if there was a space where anime fans, gamers, wrestlers, cosplayers, and creators could tell their stories without needing permission from the big platforms or gatekeepers? What began as a community meetup in Memphis has become a fully independent publication built by fans, for fans.
Each issue highlights the culture we love through interviews with cosplayers, voice actors, streamers, wrestlers, artists, and community builders. We share real stories, creative journeys, behind-the-scenes hustle, and the passion that fuels this fandom. No clickbait. No corporate filter. Just authentic voices and a home for people who love what they love loudly.
Whether you read it digitally or hold it in print, Otaku Asylum Magazine is more than a magazine — it’s a growing archive of our community, our creativity, and the people who make fandom feel like home.

Our October 2025 Horror Issue is a celebration of everything eerie, creative, and heartfelt in fandom — a tribute to the artists, streamers, and wrestlers who turn fear into art and community into connection.
Across 48 pages, Otaku Asylum Magazine dives deep into the world where horror meets fandom. From the haunting energy of Mutant Glue and the gothic power of Keres Vue, to the cinematic storytelling of Walker XIII and the supernatural theatrics of The Outbreak, this issue explores how creators across genres channel darkness into beauty.
We also sit down with streaming powerhouses like DieHardDiva, Nicki Nebula, and Sp000kyQueen, each redefining what it means to build safe, authentic spaces in the world of horror gaming. And in our cosplay features, we highlight voices like Rangers & Arrows, Amia Denyse, Kagonineko, and OniKeyz, who remind us that creativity thrives where passion meets community.
With essays, interviews, and spotlights spanning anime, gaming, cosplay, and wrestling, this is our love letter to the macabre — and to every fan who finds comfort in the dark.

Inside, you’ll find exclusive interviews and features with standout creators like Mackenzie Morgan, the “Element of Surprise” from Memphis Wrestling; tag team trailblazers Vybe Check (Sevyn Cruz & KJ Rockett); the commanding presence of Don Montana; cosplay powerhouse Papa Bear; the radiant positivity of Shockolate Energy; and Twitch favorite ChixNGiggles. Plus, anime voice acting legend Tiffany Grant shares wisdom from her iconic career, and we spotlight the wave of Black cosplayers changing the game.
From foam clay tutorials to community spotlights and heartfelt essays, every page is crafted to inspire, empower, and celebrate fandom in all its forms. Whether you’re an anime fan, indie wrestling follower, cosplayer, or content creator, this issue brings heat, heart, and a whole lot of nerd love.
